Do you like the idea?
Even if I love to work with colours, when it comes to my clothes and accessories I prefer to go for few shades, as blue, grey or green...not mixing them together!
Anyhow, I like to add that unique detail to make that piece of garment notable!
- two pompom makers in different sizes : 65mm and 45mm
- some colourful yarn
- scissors
- yarn needle
- a hat to embellish!
Choose the colours you prefer for the central pompom (the bigger one) and for the 6 petals (smaller ones).
Your pompoms need to have long tails, because they are useful when knotting them to the top of the hat !Trim all the pompoms so to have lovely fluffy rounded ones.
Once you are happy with the position of the small ones (put under the big one), pick up your flower and with the help of a yarn needle pull all the tails, from the top of the hat to inside.
From the inside, divide the tails in two equivalent groups and make the first knot. Check the top of the hat if the flower is right or if you need to pull tighter. Once you are happy, complete the knotting with a couple of more knots! Then cut the excess of yarn. Your hat is ready!!!
