I continue my adventure with crochet and I'm having real fun! Every day I would like to try new and different things (many so tempting!!)...In the last week I've even found a tutorial on YouTube about rectangular grannies...
So I watched it a couple of times (maybe more, to be honest!) and then I had a go! I liked it so much that I decided to crochet something very simple, without following a written pattern because the pattern was forming in my head little by little while crocheting this thing :
I would like to share some elements with you :
Other details in pictures :
Well, what do you think? I know that this is not a piece of art!! It's a simple project, but I did it all by myself and I'm so well-pleased (even of the mistakes...eh! eh! eh!)...You know, even little things can be considered as big achievements somehow...!!!
Remember to visit http://naturalsuburbia.blogspot.com/ (Creative Friday). I'll be there, too!! Thank you!
See you sooon, xxxxx

I would like to share some elements with you :
- I've used a 4ply worsted weight 100%cotton yarn using a #4 hook (British hook size)
- I started with 30 3 double crochet shells (american terminology)
- I worked 4 rounds
- the border : between every space I've chained 5 and every 5chain is attached to the work with a single crochet. Then every arch is decorated with 5 double crochet each. In each corner, instead, I did : 3 dc, 2 tc, 2 ch, 2 tc, 3 dc.
- actual measurements : 88x16cm (more or less!!)
