Some knitting.....

It has been a while since my last knitted project (here and here or even here-and this one is not yet completed....shame on me!)....My hands wanted something to knit, so I started to leaf through some knitting books.....This book was perfect...(written by Sian Brown)...

....because I found this pattern...

...it is meant to be a toy bag, but I will transform it a simple bag for my young niece Mara!!! I think I'll use a nice blue fabric (corduroy) with white polka dots for the lining...we'll see!!! There is still time for that!
I've just started the knitting...

...the intarsia will be the tricky part, I know...

...just done the first 3 rows....phew!!! ;oD

This morning, I went again to the hairdresser, just for a trim....maybe a little more than that!!!!

....I have my sides and my nape well razored!!!! Crazy, but so light and free!!!!

happy weekend, xxxx Alessandra

Today link : Creative Friday !!!! See you there!! Thank you !!!!

  1. What a fun looking bag Ale....I'm sure you'll manage the intarsia and your niece will love the bag.

Wow, look at you....you've gone form long hair to short to super short, no wonder it feels so light and free. It looks great too, I hope the boys don't get a shock.....
    Have a great weekend,
