As right yesterday !!!!
It was a friend's B-Day, so I decided to pimp up (just a little !) her gift box adding a crocheted ribbon and a granny heart, as a tag ..
The ribbon was really easy to make ! I collected a 4mm hook, some yellow acrylic yarn (from my stash : I think I bought it a couple of years ago in Singapore!) and then I chained 8 chains to work (more or less) 100 rows in DCs !!!!
I added to it a nice granny heart : I did follow the pattern by Lauren Granny Heart Crochet Pattern {Daisy in the centre}, pattern that finds its inspiration from the Sunburst Granny Hearts by Jacquie/Bunny Mummy !!!!
I crocheted some of these Jacquie's granny hearts in some other occasions (here, here, here, here, here, here and here ….. yes, hearts galore indeed!!!!!) and I was very curious to re-crochet some more of these motifs and so I did …
…. and some of them are hanging from one of my wooden trees right now ….
…. and to be more precise, please note that the sunburst motif in the middle of my hearts is the same used here !!!!

P.S. : in the gift box I put some balls of yarn plus a couple of hooks to teach my friend how to crochet !!! We had a lot of fun and laughs together yesterday afternoon!!! ;oD

Hearts are on!!!!
Do you remember these?
The first time you've seen them was right HERE !
Today, I dedicated them some of my time and you can see in the following pictures what happened to all of them....!!!!
I started with the total blue ones...
...this is the first one hanging from the wall!!!!
For the second one, the big dark blue heart, I decided to be more "smily"...
...now, two hanging from the same wall!!!!
For the third (and last!) one, I've tried something a little bit different...
....eventually, 3 different hearts decorations hanging from that wall..... ;oD !!!!! ....
All together they look very nice!!!! The last one is my favorite!!!!
Happy weekend, xxxx Alessandra

Blue&White hearts.....
It's some time now that in my mind I continue to see blu&white china things....I don't know why, but this colours combo is stuck here in my brain, that the only way to get free from it is to do something...
So, I got back to this loved pattern from Bunny Mummy (aka Jacquie) and this is what I came out with..
My intention is to create some little vertical decorations to hang on some walls of the home, so I did crochet even some smaller hearts from a pattern found here (it's written in Italian, but I think you can easily read the chart.....anyway, if there is any problem just contact me!)...
Then I did a 3rd one (big), completely blue...
....and now they all lay happily together on my desk, waiting for the assembling moment....

Last decorations before Christmas!!!
Yesterday, I decided to follow some tutorials/patterns (these ones, precisely : Grandma Tree Tutorial, Grandma Twinkle Tutorial and Grandma Hearts Tutorial), all found at The Royal Sisters and all designed by Michelle, the kind hostess of the just mentioned blog!!! Thank you Michelle!!!
I started to crochet some trees (that at the end became 11), using a 5mm hook with some local acrylic yarn, in white, grey, green and blue hues....
Now they are one window (still one left? ;oD) in our living room...
I did crochet some yellow stars (3, to be precise!), one red heart (I found the pattern a little bit tricky for me...) and some pink/purple snowflakes! The pattern for these ones was found on this book "100 Snowflakes to crochet" by Caitlin Sainio (Spring Snow on page 45, if you ask!)....
With the help of some little Santas, these decorations are held in place on a different window...
Probably, we need some more snowflakes as in Jakarta will never snow, so I was thinking to follow this idea from Erica at Caught on a Whim....just to have a hint of a cold and cosy Christmas !!!
Thank you Erica !!
Are you still putting on the last decorations for Christmas, too???? Have fun!!! ;oD
