All started with some blues and stripes...
...and I added some orange to liven up the project in progress...
some close ups...
with a darker hue of blue (and folding the stripy rectangle in half) I started to join the sides with a border in single crochets...
....and before the last stitches, I filled it with some toy stuffing...
Even the orange piece (folded in half, too) has been sewn crocheting some single crochet stitches....
Two pieces...
...became one!!! Have a look :
I really love the lace effect of the roof and its emptiness!!!
I tried some cross stitching in the front of the house....
.....well????
I think I will use it as a pincushion, but the possibilities are more : decoration (I've added a loop on the top of the roof to hang it somewhere!), a lavender sachet, a soft toy, a......?????
