…. this choco bunny is the right coaster for a hot cup of chocolate or for a bowl full of mini easter eggs!!!

W.I.P. #1 : done !!!

This morning I went upstairs in Tobia's bedroom with the sunburst circles (see this post here) and I asked him, please, to line them up the way he liked most...

Then, I cut 10 stripes (each 10 cm long, approx.) from a navy-blue&white gingham ribbon reel

So, I knotted each stripe to a circle on a long yarn chain ( I didn't measure the gap between each circle)

After the knotting moment, I used my "zig zag" scissors to stop all the fraying from the stripes

Tobia hammered (omg!!!) a couple of nails in the wall, just above his bed header (under the constant supervision of both mum and dad !!!)...

After checking all the fingers were safe and sound, we decided to put the bunting in place

...Hope the boy is as happy as I am!!!! ;oD

3 W.I.P. !!!

To embellish Tobia's birthday gift wrap, I've crocheted a long blue chain and a couple of sunburst circles....

He liked so much the idea and he asked for more circles, so we can use the chain for a garland in his room...

There is something on my knitting needles, too.....a scarf to-be for my husband, who is going to Italy because of work reasons....maybe it will be a little chilly in the mornings over there, so....( I'm following the pattern "Stacked Wedges" from the book Knitting New Scarves by Lynne Barr)...

And the third project is a bright crochet "rectangle" ...!! I can't say more about it, because it all started as a good exercise to practice granny stripes.....we'll see!!! ;oD
