Last Sunday ...

… we hired a boat, together some friends, to reach Ilha dos Portogueses and Ilha de Inhaca (to have an idea of what I'm talking about, just look here or here !), a couple of beautiful islands at the end of Maputo Bay.

It has been a very nice day trip, with lovely friends !
We were lucky to see in the distance, while approaching Ilha dos Portogueses, some dolphins and a WHALE !!!! But I don't have any picture of them, as they were a little bit distant from us!!!

We had lunch on Ilha dos Portogueses, that is even a natural reserve and you have to pay tickets once you land on the beach.

Quiet and wonderful, as we wished for !!!

Beauty is where you find it : February 2015, ESCAPE DAILY ROUTINE !

Saturday 14 February we decided to have a day out at Macaneta (our beach gateway!) and I decided to take some random pictures ( on the ferry to the beach ) with my smartphone, without thinking about the composition of each photo… I was just clicking and clicking !!!!

Maybe some good shoot was taken (even a silly one with me in a hat and a stamp of Matteo…. how it happened is still a mystery to me !!!!) ….

Macaneta, last Saturday ...

We had a free day to spend somewhere, so we took the car and in less than 1 hour we reached Macaneta, where it was windy and not very hot …
It was a good day, anyway!
Spent in front of the sea and breathing good air ….
…. we have been lucky in bird watching : a lot of seagulls and some spectacular black headed herons, who let us approach further and further ….
Boats and fishermen were ashore because of the strong wind and wavy sea …..
