Another Christmas decoration for you all !
Today I`m releasing an updated version of it!!! Hope you will enjoy it!
WHAT YOU NEED
- Some chunky yarn : in my basket I found some balls of Hayfield Bonus Chunky extra value (100 g ball) both in teal (yarn B) and in red (yarn A) and one ball in each colour is more than enough!
- Small amount of sparkling yarn : in another basket (!!!) there were some balls of James C. Brett Twinkle fashion DK and I chose some red and some grey to work with!
- 6mm hook
- scissors
- yarn needle
- blocking board or foam tiles, pins and water spray bottle
Please, note that I follow the US crochet terminology!

EDGING and HANGING LOOP
Work two strands of sparkling yarn held together.
Starting in any star point, join yarn with a sl st and work 2sc around each stitch post (6 rows = 12sc). The same in the bottom "V" between two points : work 2sc. In each point, instead, work 3DC.
When you reach the starting point, after the last sc, work 2DC, 28ch, sl st in top of the second DC ( the loop is completed), 1DC, sl st in first sc, fasten off . Weave in all ends.
If you like, add a tassel to the bottom of the star : cut 10 pieces of sparkling yarn (at least 40cm each), fold them in half. Pass the loop (with the help of the hook) from front to back and pull the yarn ends through it. Pull tight and trim the excess of yarn.
If needed, pin the star on a blocking board and spray it with water. Let it dry completely before use!
Thank you, xxxx Ale
