I had some yarn leftovers in my basket …. mmmmm …..
I saw this Never-ending chains crocheted necklace …. mmmmmm ……
I had some grey yarn from my new shawl ….. so …. I started to chain!!!!!
Well, very simple indeed !
I've used a 4mm hook with my starting chain (grey) : I crocheted 1310 chains with it (!!!!!!).
Then I changed hook (2,5mm) to crochet with the red : I started with a slip knot on the hook and a single crochet/SC (US crochet terms!) in the last stitch made in the grey chain!
I chained 7 with the red, to form little arches (total : 262), and joined with the grey chain every 5 chains, as you can see
I repeated the above pattern till I reached the end of the grey chain (concluding my work with a SC).
This is what I got
I know that I could stop here, but instead I went on!!!
I repeated the same pattern crocheted with red using, this time, some hot pink, crocheting on the opposite side of the main grey chain
It was quickly done !!!!
After the last SC, I looped the chains till I obtained the desired length and I just made some knots, that I covered with another yellow chain (111 chains with a 2,5mm hook)...
You may have a look ….
…. in my basket there is another colourful project on the go … !!!!!! ……
…. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;oD
