ARE YOU READY FOR THIS ???? SURE YOU ARE !!! I now that!!!! ;oD So during this last week I was showing you via Instagram (see my personal feed ) some colourful pictures about my new crochet w.i.p. , which I completed last night ... ... so this morning, before school/office time a couple of boys helped me with the last photos for this blog post ... TA-DAH ... The beauty of this project resides in the fact that is adaptable to any extent, any kind of yarn and any corner of your home (in or out!) !!! The inspiration and "creative kick" derives from two other projects I've seen around : The Chain Statement Necklace by my dear friend Miki from Set Free My Gypsy Soul and Peggy's Comfy Indoors Blanket by Pip Lincoln from Meet Me at Mike's !!! Looks like it was a great time. Our International Festival will be in December this year. Unfortunately, our kids aren't just allowed to wear any shirt. When my youngest son was in Middle School he wore an American Eagle shirt to represent America and was told that he was not allowed to wear it because it wasn't really traditional dress. I mean, what is traditional dress for America? I was very upset to say the least. Too many silly rules at times. Best wishes, Tammy

Brilliant photos! It looks like a fantastic day! We don't have an International Day at our school (which IS an international school). But our 'rival' international school (just down the road) has one every year - and we always go along. They always have the most amazing food!!! :-)

DeleteThe school required to bring finger food, but then everyone decided by their mood !!! Italians brought in : beef lasagne, Focaccia, pizza, Nutella sandwiches, frittata, tiramisu', cappuccino muffins, chocolate salami …… !!!!!!

Questa scuola internazionale è una meraviglia ! Quanti colori e quanta allegria , di sicuro i ragazzi ne usciranno arricchiti e poi i tavoli con le specialità ! Complimenti anche a chi ha organizzato la festa , un esempio di integrazione che servirebbe tanto anche qui da noi ; )
