....from a blog friend of mine, Nata in her last post ......Thank you !!!!
Today I was in charge in the kitchen to cook some dishes for the Christmas lunch of tomorrow (4 quiches, some appetizers, smashed potatoes, tiramisu' and some cream for the panettone or pandoro!!), but I did find some time to crochet these little beauties....
I just grabbed my 5mm hook, some acrylic yarn and some little colourful bells.....done in few hours, between one dish and the other....;oD !!!
....My husband is cooking the dinner while I'm posting this....!!!
After dinner, I still have some parcels to wrap, to set the table for Christmas breakfast.....I have to put the boys early in bed....Santa has still job to do !!! ;oD
I really love this time of the year!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!!

Last decorations before Christmas!!!
Yesterday, I decided to follow some tutorials/patterns (these ones, precisely : Grandma Tree Tutorial, Grandma Twinkle Tutorial and Grandma Hearts Tutorial), all found at The Royal Sisters and all designed by Michelle, the kind hostess of the just mentioned blog!!! Thank you Michelle!!!
I started to crochet some trees (that at the end became 11), using a 5mm hook with some local acrylic yarn, in white, grey, green and blue hues....
Now they are one window (still one left? ;oD) in our living room...
I did crochet some yellow stars (3, to be precise!), one red heart (I found the pattern a little bit tricky for me...) and some pink/purple snowflakes! The pattern for these ones was found on this book "100 Snowflakes to crochet" by Caitlin Sainio (Spring Snow on page 45, if you ask!)....
With the help of some little Santas, these decorations are held in place on a different window...
Probably, we need some more snowflakes as in Jakarta will never snow, so I was thinking to follow this idea from Erica at Caught on a Whim....just to have a hint of a cold and cosy Christmas !!!
Thank you Erica !!
Are you still putting on the last decorations for Christmas, too???? Have fun!!! ;oD

Some easy window decorations !!!
I had some circles ( here and here) still resting in my box....what to do with them???
Eventually yesterday morning a simple idea hit me!!!
I collected all the materials I needed....
....So using my granny and basic circles I did these.......
....and now they are dangling from some windows in our living room...
....a complete vision of the decorative effect....!!!!....
On one more window, instead, I put these "solitary" decorations.....
Do you believe me, if I say that I still have more decorations on the hook???? ;oD
