Little things handmade for a wedding ... !!!

My friend Ann is invited to a wedding, that will be celebrated tomorrow here in Maputo!

Ann, in the meanwhile, asked me to craft some little things as ....

a mini crocheted box for the wedding rings ....

... a pin, with both the names of the bride's parents, who passed away some years ago .... in this way they will be there too, as the bride could pin it on the waist band of her dress ...

.... and something blue .... a very simple anklet .....

Cut Out & Keep : the Granny Brooch !!!

…. sniff ! sniff ! sniff….. My last day as a Knit & Crochet Superstar !!!!!

I loved it, immensely!!!!
I worked on my tutorials between November and December (before Christmas time) and it involved a lot of work, some upsetting moments (as internet here as a lot of hic-ups …..), but even a lot of fun and enthusiasm to be part of this brilliant moment in my crafty life!!!!! It was so hard to wait until the 2nd of February to see the fruit of my work shared on Cut Out & Keep ….. I thank you Cath for all the patience you had with me, in answering all my initial questions!!!!

But today it is the end of all of that and I have to show you my last little project ….

…. I simply love her, the Granny Brooch !!!!!

… just a happy end with a big smile and no tears !!!!!

Funny faces pins inspired by crochet sunbursts!!!

I'm a beginner in crochet, as I just entered this world after last Easter....and I'm really curious and for that reason I challenge my crochet skills so often. Yesterday afternoon, I was reading Ida Interior Lifestyle blog and I found her crochet tutorial : sunburst in a square (grazie Ilaria!!)..... well, I told myself to have a try and I did it! Honestly, I was only interested in the circles, that suggested me other ideas....

....and then...

These are the sunbursts that gave me the inspiration for the above ones....

Obviously (!!!!), I didn't stop just after two "funny faces" pins, oh no...!!! Infact....

.....I own a peculiar family of funny faces, plus......a cheerful hen!!!

....eh! eh! eh! eh!..... Do you like them? Don't ask me : I'm in love with them all!!!
