Then I added 16+10=26 and I divided the result by 2 and I got 13!!!

I'm very excited to tell you that I'm celebrating the FIRST YEAR OF MY BLOG !!!
Yes, one year ago, it was a Sunday, 2nd of October 2011 (have a look here), I started to blog!! I remember I was really scared....how it works? what I write now? which pics? and more silly things!!!
After one year I'm still here and I'm HAPPY!!! I love what I'm doing with my crafts and I love you guys, a lot!!! I made good friends through my blog and they give me good reasons to go on with this big blogging adventure! I love to be in touch with bloggers, I love to discover your worlds, I love to be inspired by you!!!! It's a unique experience and I'm really glad that one year ago I decided to enter this magic and colourful world!!! Thank you to you all, my followers, my friends, my silent readers (!!!) and the curious ones that sometimes visit me : THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!

I love my rug!!! It's location will be in my studio, in front of my pink sofa : this is the right place for it (and my feet are so happy to stand on it)!!!
I can give you some little informations about the rug:
measurements : roughly 74cmx50cm
worked in double crochet (British terminology), changing colour every two rows
border in double crochet, too, worked for two rounds
I've used a 4mm hook
I don't know how many stitches, because I was not counting them (shame on me!)!!!

I'm quite happy with this not impeccable result! What do you think, instead?

I would like to start with some music! At first, I had thought "What about a fanfare?", but then, browsing on YouTube, I found something more appropriate and beautiful like the following

So, my FIRST GIVEAWAY.... I think that most of you have guessed what it is all about, and now I'll show it to you in all its splendour..
Yes!! It's a bunting made with 19 of my knitted elongate hearts !!! It's long 3,50m (!!!!) and each heart is knitted in garther stitch (with two threads, same or contrasting colours). Each heart is attached to the jute ribbon, weaving in the ends and with top knots, embellished with wood beads! The hearts are all fringed with the same threads (80% bamboo sourced viscose and 20% wool, Sirdar FLIRT, double knitting) and these threads are the same used to knot the wood buttons on the jute ribbon. The buttons are a souvenir from Egypt, while the jute ribbon is from here (or China?), like the acrylic yarn used to knit.
I hope you like it! I think that you can hang it even outside, under heavy rain!!!
