last week ….

…. I've been busy with my boys : half term break!!!!
We didn't do much, but it has been a pleasure to have some good time to spend together, doing simply things and having nice chit chats!

We had a "big event" : Matteo turned 15!!!!……

….. I really hope your wish comes true !!!!! <3 <3 <3

I had some little time for another "big one"….

last week….

…. I crocheted few rows of my blanket-to-be….

….. a growing beauty…. well, at least for me!!!!! ;oD

A friend of mine had her birthday, so I decorated her present with a granny circle "home sweet home" and a teeny-tiny heart ….

…. just simple things, that made me smile!!!

…. a new shawl ….

…. no bright colours, but very soothing ones…. not my usual choice, I know….

I have to crochet (we'll see then, even because the centre of the flowers is not as the pattern dictates!) 4 stripes of 16 flowers each….

…. and the pattern that made me say "awwwww!" is the following ….

In the meantime, my blanket is getting bigger and bigger…..
P.S. : Milena got inspired by the same pattern!!!!

Update about my blanket-to-be !!!!

I don't know when I'm going to finish it….

….but I'm going on crocheting, slowly but with an encouraging enthusiasm….
It's the typical project that it's a pleasure to enjoy in the evenings, sitting on your favourite sofa with the rest of your family just next to you (even the cat, with which I "fight" a lot for "blanket possession")…
You cannot carry it around with you (I mean outside the home!)…. too big and heavy!!!! ;oD
My yarn stash is consumed little by little…. I'm not buying yarn for this blanket and when a colour is out of stock (my personal stock!) I just pick a "new" one from one of my drawers…. easy peasy…

….. Maybe one day I'll start to weave in the million ends or maybe not…. still thinking about the way I'll end my first blanket… still a lot of time, so a deep breathe and patience : enjoy the journey!!!

…. and in the meantime I really love this huge and warm yarn hug….

This granny square was made by mums minions !!!! I love it and I'm so happy that my tutorial worked for a crochet beginner !!!!! So so proud !!!!
